Then again, maybe not. I mean, just check out this video review by KickingTires.com and you’ll see how COOL the Honda Odyssey really is.
We have written much about the 2014 Honda Odyssey, including its incredible features, including rear view cameras and other safety features. Well, this time, instead of making a list, we found a two minute commercial that will SHOW you what an awesome family vehicle the 2014 Honda Odyssey is.
See the entire commercial HERE.
We loved this Honda “Hands” commercial that has been called “fabulous.” We love everything innovative and creative and this commercial perfectly illustrates these two Honda characteristics.
Watch the commercial HERE and be taken on a whirl-wind of Honda products made at the “hands” of creative ingenuity.
Much has been written about why the 2012 Honda Civic was redesigned so quickly. Like this blogger, some say it was because it was “so bad.” However, bloggers like him seem to miss the point that it was still the best selling compact car in the U.S. last year. And usually consumers know the difference between bad and good cars.
That being said, expectations were set high for the 2012 Honda Civic and some critics were disappointed. However, the folks at MotorWeek were not as evidenced by this video calling the 2012 Honda Civic energy smart and stating it is “excellence evolved.”
This critic notes that while the actual size of the car was smaller, the interior of the 2012 Honda Civic actually grew, among other positive features, including incredible gas mileage that the Honda Civic is renowned for. While the 2013 Honda Civic is an incredible redesign, the 2012 Honda Civic is still available at many Honda dealerships and, because of that quick redesign, available at an even better value.

We were intrigued by this short video that transforms your regular 2012 Honda Civic Si into a race car on the biggest stage. Because of the length of the video, I thought it would be a relatively easy process.
Well, it’s not exactly easy.
But it isvery interesting. And I’m not even a take-the-car-apart-and-put-it-back-together kind of gal.
If you want to see how a regular Honda Civic Si goes from normal commuter car to racing machine, check out this short documentary. It’s pretty cool.
We are always looking for interesting commercials (hey, we are human and will be the first ones to admit that it’s more fun to watch videos than read articles) and this one definitely caught our attention. It’s a Honda motorbike advertisement for France (although the announcer is speaking English…in a very block-buster movie sort of way) and it is…intense.
First of all, it’s just over two minutes long and it doesn’t feel like two minutes. You really feel like you just watched a trailer for a major motion picture.
Second of all…it’s just intense.
For the first part of the commercial, I thought it was some sort of Dracula-themed commercial but it turned out to be much less cheesy and a lot more real with the close ups of the motorbike riders. Not to mention I was transfixed on the overhead shot of that HUGE race start on the beach (how did they get those words so big and perfect on the sand? Totally kidding…)
Take a look at this very different kind of Honda commercial. It’s not about hopes and dreams and leap lists…it’s about fear.
We love video reviews. It’s so much better to see the features critics are talking about. We really love this review of the 2013 Honda Civic by Cars.com because Cars.com is very respected and it’s not at all critical of the much improved 2013 Honda Civic.
Check out the 5 minute video review of the 2013 Honda Civic by Cars.com.
The only negative thing Cars.com had to say about the 2013 Honda Civic in this video review is that the hubcaps of the LX trim do not quite work because you can see the metal tire behind it (something that is easily fixed, as pointed out in the video).
Here are the highlights you’ll want to know:
- There are significant features that come standard on every model, including text message reading, back up camera, Bluetooth connectivity, smartphone integration, and more! And, as the reviewer pointed out, all these features, even in the base model, are executed well and are high quality.
- All the features described above work well and are easy to sync up with your smartphone (if it’s compatible). In fact, it’s easier to sync up your smartphone with the 2013 Honda Civic than any other car.
- The 2013 Honda Civic is safer. It has a new front subframe, which helped it earn the presitigious ’Top Safety Plus’ rating.
- The Honda Civic regained its “fun to drive character” with new suspension which made makes it “more composed.”
- The 2013 Honda Civic is still a “big compact car” with lots of space in the back for passengers.
There’s more to know about the impressive 2013 Honda Civic, so be sure to stop by Apple Valley Honda, Northwest Honda, or Sims Honda dealership to take the 2013 Honda Civic for a test drive and see why it is “back on top of its game.”
That title may be a little misleading. I mean, you can’t really ‘vs’ when you’re on the same team and one model is the new and improved version of the previous car, but this video is a very interesting and honest head-to-head comparison of the 2012 Honda Civic and 2013 Honda Civic.
If you’ve been following Honda news at all, you know that Honda came out with the 2012 Honda Civic that met some critics. However, as pointed out in the video, it was still the best-selling car in America. But CNN.com thinks that’s an “Awful lot of people who should’ve waited” for the 2013 Honda Civic.
And while the 2012 Honda Civic was still wildly successful with consumer, Honda believe there’s always room for improvement and, so, it took the Civic back to the drawing board and made some significant improvements. I highly recommend watching the video, but in case you don’t have 2-3 minutes, here are the highlights:
- The 2013 Civic looks better on the outside with the new grill and lines
- The 2013 Civic looks and feels better on the inside, even though it has the same design as the 2012;Honda upgraded the internal materials making it feel nicer
- The steering and suspension feel better in the 2013 Civic
- And, while the engines are the same (meaning the same, great gas mileage), the 2013 Civic is quieter and doesn’t seem as gruff.
These may not seem like big issues, but Honda took the criticism to heart and came out with a new and improved 2013 Honda Civic. This created an opportunity for buyers to purchase the improved 2013 Civic or get a great deal on the now “out-dated” 2012 Civic (again, the best-selling car of last year).
For your chance to see how improved the 2013 Honda Civic is or take advantage of deals on the ‘outdated’ 2012 Honda Civic (the best-selling car in America), stop by Sims Honda, Apple Valley Honda, or Northwest Honda dealerships today!
