The Honda CR-V hasn’t really been remodeled since 2011. We love the CR-V no matter what it looks like, but we were excited to see that the 2016 Honda CR-V is getting a facelift and Motoroids.com was kind enough to share some photos and video of the recently spotted, fresh look of the CR-V.
Check out the photos and video here.
The CR-V isn’t just one of the most important vehicles to Honda, it is also simply a very favorite of Americans who appreciate functionality.
“I think that people will love the CR-V for a long time, pretty much no matter what it looks like” said Keith Hofkamp, general manager of Sims Honda dealership in Burlington. “But it is still really exciting to consider the new look of the 2016 CR-V. We’re excited and I’m sure consumers will love it more than before.”
What do you think of the new look of the CR-V?
- Accord leads all passenger cars in retail new-vehicle registrations to individual car buyers for first three months of 2014
- Accord, Civic, CR-V and Odyssey are #1 in segment in retail new-vehicle registrations
Accord is leading in the effort to repeat its 2013 performance as the most popular new car with individual American car buyers. Through the first three months of 2014, four of Honda’s five top-selling models – Accord, Civic, CR-V and Odyssey – each led their segments in retail registrations for the first quarter of 2014, according to a Honda analysis of new vehicle registration data from IHS Automotive.
These same four Honda models earned top retail registrations status for the full year in 2013, with Accord earning the title of America’s most popular car based on retail registrations, and Civic and CR-V achieving both retail and outright best-selling status in their respective segments.
“We’re thrilled to be leading the pack in the first lap around the track in 2014,” said Jeff Conrad, senior vice president and general manager of the Honda Division. “In a business environment marked by intense competition and heavy incentives, we want to thank our Honda customers for the trust they continue to place in our products.”
Highlights for the Honda brand in the first quarter of 2014 include:
- Excluding full-size pickups, the Accord, Civic and CR-V held three of the top five slots– first, third and fourth, respectively – in registrations among individual car buyers in the first quarter of 2014.
- The Accord, with retail registrations totaling 78,355 units through March, maintained a narrow lead of less than 1,000 units over its nearest competitor. Retail registrations accounted for 98.4 percent of all Accord registrations for the period, according to Honda analysis of IHS Automotive registration data.
- Civic retail registrations of 70,677 units led all small cars, beating the closest segment competitor by more than 10,000 units.
- CR-V retail registrations rose 3.9 percent to 67,773 units compared to the first quarter last year, giving CR-V a more than 7,000-unit lead over the #2 selling vehicle in the segment.
- Odyssey retail registrations of 27,748 units made it the top choice among retail minivan customers.
The new Honda CR-V is very popular. And for good reason. We’ve written about it more than a few times, but we know many of you are visual learners so here’s a great video that shows exactly how awesome the Honda CR-V is because of the many impressive features that come with it.

We love hearing about the different reasons people adore the Honda CR-V, but this was a new one.
In this article at TruckTrend.com, focuses mostly on how wonderfully easy the Honda CR-V is park. Seriously! It seems a bit funny at first, but then I thought about my experiences or concerns about driver a vehicle bigger than a mid-sized sedan and parking is right at the top. Who wants to be embarrassed as they try to squeeze into a tiny, downtown parking spot? Or start panicking as they realize that all the room they THOUGHT they had only to start pulling in and realize the vehicle was making it much tighter than it should be?!
Certainly, we’ve all experienced that anxiety, which is why the focus on ease of parking in this article is relevant. Especially to those moms (and dads) who need a vehicle big enough to transport kids and lots of stuff, but not one so big that it makes it impossible to park unless you park yourself away from everyone else.
“The Honda CR-V tends to be the pick families; moms and dads who want a great car for moving the family around,” said Tony Carter, general manager at Northwest Honda in Bellingham. “Families need a good sized car, but not one that feels like a tank driving down Fairhaven or makes it impossible to shop at Bellis Fair around the holidays. This article actually does a really great job of describing an important aspect of why people love driving (and parking) the Honda CR-V.”
How great is the Honda CR-V’s “parkability?”
“The CR-V seems as if was born to park, squeezing into laughably tight, strip-mall spots; shoring up perfectly square to curbs; and swiftly maneuvering through one of Los Angeles’ massive 10-story, subterranean parking garages. You’d almost swear this was Honda’s top priority when conceptualizing the fourth generation of its small ute.”

KBB.com, the online presence of Kelley Blue Book, has named the 2014 Honda CR-V as the best SUV for less than $25,000, giving the award to the CR-V for the second year in row!
“We chose the 2014 Honda CR-V to lead the pack for the second year in a row because of its well-rounded manner and stellar reliability,” says Jack Nerad, KBB’s executive editorial director, in a statement.
According to this article, “It’s not just about being a cheap ride. Nerad says those on the list were chosen for being stylish and offering the latest technology as well. Fuel economy was also a must.”
And consumers are reacting (and loving) the 2014 Honda CR-V.
“The CR-V is better than ever,” said Keith Hofkamp, general manager at Sims Honda dealership in Burlington. “Over the years the CR-V has really built a name for itself as one of the best SUVs on the market and the 2014 Honda CR-V is certainly a culmination of what Honda learned people want in their SUVs. And it’s an entirely affordable vehicle! To be named best SUV by Kelley Blue Book really says something because it s very well respected.”
Stop by Sims Honda, Northwest Honda in Bellingham, or Apple Valley Honda in Wenatchee to find out why the 2014 Honda CR-V is the best in the industry.

“The CR-V EX, the most popular trim, adds premium features including a power moonroof, upgraded 6-speaker audio system and 17-inch alloy wheels. Building from there, the EX-L adds a leather-trimmed interior, a 328-watt 7-speaker audio system with XM Radio and much more.
