Generally speaking, Honda sells vehicles where it makes them. Which means many of the Honda vehicles sold in the U.S. are made right here in the U.S.
A big part of that “made-in-America” effort is Honda’s manufacturing plant in Marysville, Ohio, which recently completed its 10 millionth Honda Accord. That same vehicle was also the 20 millionth vehicle overall that Honda has made in the U.S.
According to this article, “The Marysville facility alone employs about 1,500 in Clark and Champaign counties and about 1,200 across the rest of the Miami Valley. The plant can produce as many as 1,800 vehicles a day, and as many as 440,000 a year.”
While the productivity of this U.S. plant is impressive and its impact to Honda is clear, what is more important than that is the number of Americans it affects. With hundreds of suppliers feeding into this assembly plant, the economic impact of the plant is incredible.
Honda is dedicated to building vehicles for Americans on U.S. soil and providing high-quality jobs. What more can you ask for from a global company like Honda?
Not a whole lot.
