Honda Accord Beats Out Toyota Camry In Pretty Much Every Category in 2013

Not only has the Honda Accord bested the Toyota Camry is sales for the 12th year in a row, it has done it by focusing on retail sales and not fleet sales. Ninety-eight percent of the Toyota Camry’s volume came from sales to individuals; 84 percent of sales of the Toyota Camry was made to individuals, which relies heavily on fleet sales.

And according to this article, the Honda Accord beats out the Toyota Camry in some key areas…in fact, the Toyota Camry isn’t even in the top three.

“The Accord had the highest residual value among mid-size cars in 2013, according to ALG, the Santa Barbara, California-based company that calculates such figures. The Honda model also led Kelley Blue Book’s resale value awards for mid-size cars. Camry isn’t in the top three of either ranking.”

This dedication to individual buyers is paying off big for Honda and for consumers.

“People who come to Sims Honda to check out the 2014 Honda Accord are blown away at what a high-quality vehicle it is,” said Keith Hofkamp, general manager at Sims Honda dealership in Burlington. “They can tell that Honda put the focus on the driver and passengers of the vehicle, not putting something together that would just meet the basic criteria and make some money.”

Stop by Sims Honda, Apple Valley, or Northwest Honda today to find out why the 2014 Honda Accord is better than the Toyota Camry.
