Honda Voluntarily Recalls Older Odysseys, Pilots

Honda announced it is voluntarily recalling Honda Odyssey minivans and Honda Pilot SUVs from the 2003 and 2004 model years for problems with the ignition. Also, Acura MDX SUVs from the 2003 through 2006 models years may be affected. The problem with the ignition could cause the vehicle to roll away even after it is put in park and the key removed.

Approximately 800,000 vehicles may be affected.

“If you have questions or concerns about this issue, please call us or stop by,” said Tod McLaughlin of Apple Valley Honda. “Whether you bought your Odyssey, Pilot or Acura MDX here or another Honda dealership, we will take care of you. Any problems related to this recall will be taken care of free of charge.”

If Sims Honda or Northwest Honda dealerships are closer to you, please do not hesitate to call or stop by and one of our certified Honda staff will take care of you.
